About ESJ Corporation

Jacob Ambrose, was a Transportation Manager and Supply Chain expert in different modes of transportation. He started his career for the L&N Railroad and went on to further his knowledge with Hoover Ball & Bearing where he managed their complete logistics operations.  He went to work for Scott & Fetzer, and managed a fleet of over 200 trucks.  His dream, create a company that would change the transportation industry, focusing on matching drivers with the right customers to create on-time solutions through different modes of transportation.  In 1986 he started ESJ Corporation and began to live his dream.  He passed away suddenly in April of 1987, his wife Eva and his daughter, Sandra took over the business and has shared in his dream for over 35 years now.  

Sandra runs the business today and she tells the story when she was just 7 years old she would go to work with her father in Cadiz KY, a small town where everyone knows your name.  As her father would walk around the office she would hear "there goes Jake and little Jake".  From going to work with her father to now living it day to day, she has the pleasure to provide the solutions by bringing drivers, customers and 3rd party solution providers together and now "ESJ" is  "Entrepreneurs Serving Jointly"
